About Woodlands Network

Woodlands Network

Centre for Hill Country Eco-tourism in Sri Lanka

Woodlands Network is a self-employed women group. Since 1994 we run an office in Bandarawela and are involved in social projects and in the development of ecotourism in Uva. Over the years we have developed a network of travel options in our region. Each of our partners has an unique project going on, and hospitality is a part of it.

We do not accept commissions and we are not a tour operator. We see us as a centre of information. We offer individual travellers and small groups assistance in making your tour through Sri Lanka special. We also have experience in working with travel agents with an interest in ecotourism. We can organise programs of one day or more in the Uva area and offer help.
